Our area faces major traffic issues.  New Barnet is congested with traffic at peak times which inconveniences not only on those who live in the immediate area but those who pass through New Barnet and also those who shop there. 

Between Hadley Wood and Russell Lane there are only two roads that cross under the railway line, at the railway bridges in East Barnet Road and Longmore Avenue.  With ever increasing numbers of homes and cars in the wider area, the traffic bottleneck in New Barnet will have a knock-on affect on the mobility of everyone who lives in our area.
